Hi, my name is WenLyn and I am posting for the first time. I joined the forum because of a friend’s situation. She lives in Essex and has been a full time carer for her husband since his MS diagnosis 5yrs ago. Her dedication is admirable but she is exhausted and desperately needs some respite care for herself. A day or so’s break once a fortnight would give her some recovery time. Is there a local support group she can contact who might know how this can be achieved?
