day out

Hallo playmates!

I had a good day out yesterday…my weekly outing…each week I pray no snow stops me going out as I get cabin fever sometimes…not alone in that I suspect, eh?

Anyroad, I treated myself to some new tutty and hair putty…a rhyme!

Went to see a film…Non Stop, with Liam Neeson. Oh what a chuffin` good movie! Suspense from start to finish. You just didnt know who were the baddies.

I enjoyed it soooo much, at times I sat literally on the edge of my wheelie seat, fixed with interest.

But when I got home, before I got out of the wheelie, I suddenly got a sharp pain in my left thigh…never had it before and it continued to stab me for about 30 minutes. I thought What the chuffin ummer is this now? Sis Chris got me into bed and the jab carried on ajabbing!

I pressed deep into the area of the pain and squeezed the jab and told it where to go as I didnt want yet another chuffin` ? on my already covered with ??? marks forehead.

Hubby and sister rolled their eyes each time I yelled out. Folk get fed up of hearing
us dont they?

I started to look at a fashion catalogue, whch I had picked up on our outing and got quite interested. This read lasted around 30 mins, when I suddeny realised the pain had gone!

Luckily it hasnt returned and thank chuff for that eh?

So I now look forward to next week`s trip and hope the white stuff stays away…

Hi Poll

Good to hear you enjoyed your day out and the snow kept away.

Is this the Liam Neeson film on the aeroplane? I want to see that one…looks good…no giving the ending away Poll

Sorry about the pain you got in your leg…funny how reading a fashion magazine took your mind off the pain…internet spending does the same for me seriously though, glad it hasn’t returned.

Take care

Noreen xx

Yes Noreen, it is the one about a plane. My daughter and son in law have just been to visit us and they re going to see the film tomorrow. I have lifted their expectations.

Sounds like you had a good outing, I totally understand the cabin fever, not having my driving licence for 10 months, not going to the office for 6 weeks any chance I got to escape the house was great. Working from home makes it possible for me to continue full time, with visits to office a couple of times a month. I really miss the face to face interaction with people. Pain doesn’t sound pleasant, glad it didn’t hang around hope it stays that way. Have you already planned next week. I used to love snow but now can see how restrictive it can be. How are wheelchairs in the snow? I have got spikes for crutches but wondered what the wheels are like. I nearly came to a nasty accident in the wheels with wind and a flight of steps fortunately I managed to apply breaks just in time. That was scarey

Glad you had a great day poll Gray xx

Glad you had a great day poll and the pain in your leg had gone X

Hi, ta for your reply.

Wheelies arent great in the snow. I have a ramp as access in and out of my house and if it is at all wet, I can end up in the fence…just imagine Mrs Bucket, when she falls into a hedge, when Onslow`s dog barks at her!

I dont go out in snow and ice…more cabin fever!

Thanks Poll, that made me chuckle must watch some of those episodes of keeping up appreances. They always have me chuckling away. Let’s hope we don’t have any of the white stuff. Not that I am going to get out much this week any way.
