I am looking at this (removed by moderator). I am just not sure of the cost that I should expect for DDA compliant lift for a building. Does any of you have experience in getting one? How much are we looking at here?
Go through the OT’s at our local County (or Unitary) council. They are part of the Adult Social Care Team and grants can be made available for stairlifts where professionally recommended. Not sure about actual passenger lifts because costs are an order of magnitude higher. Are you in rented property? The advice might be that you need to move and they could assist with those costs too.
