We applied for rebanding and after all the messing around providing proof that we were in too high a band, we finally got the letter saying yes you are, and have a refund! not only that but the previous occupant (renter) unexpectedly received two cheques this morning as a refund on the council tax she had paid whilst here, without lifting a finger!..I know this as my next door neighbour visited her this morning (they are still good friends)…hmm, very nice for her,but we are still waiting! lol…Perseverence pays off, lady at the council was absolutely delighted for, so if you know you are in the wrong band don’t give up! £550 will be very useful toward the wetroom (floor being dug up at the moment)
