My problem started 2nd January 2022 with my ‘so called good leg’. I needed neuropathic pain relief from my GP, who discussed this with my MS Consultant. So Amitriptyline 25 mg, my problem only kicks off when I go to bed AND a hellish itchy scalp. - Go figure!
Pretty sure this is not very helpful BUT you are not alone M  x

Mine has been annoying all this week. I only take 10mg of amitriptyline at night but have the option to double that so will start that and see if it helps. Managed to sleep last night by putting a pillow between my legs thus supporting my bad leg. At least today with fluffy trousers socks and a fluffy blanket my legs not so cold. And I was served coffee and breakfast by my partner so always a plus side :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hi My leg pain and cold feet have been virtually a constant for the last two years. I’m afraid the numbness is not due to the cold, mine was just as bad in the summer although I have also got PVD which could be causing the numbness. I take 600mg of Gabapentin three times a day. I also take 40mg of Baclofen and also 30mg of Amitriptyline. The tablets were only prescribed after my PPMS was diagnosed. The pain I felt without the tablets before my diagnosis was horrendous. If you are going through that pain God help you! Once the tablets kick in it does make a difference but I’m afraid it never goes away. With the feet are they numb as well as cold then it could be Peripheral Vascular Disease. Were you a smoker? It’s one of the causes of PVD. Anyway good luck
