CBD hemp oil/capsules

Hello.

Does any one out there have experience of CBD hemp oil/capsule/cream? I have been told that is beneficial to those of us with the mes who suffer pain, but of cause, it is quite expensive. I’d like save myself a wodge of money if the opinion is that it is ineffective. My doctor has never suggested it but then, I’ve not asked about it…yet.

hi loulla

CBD products are my plan for when i need it.

your GP is unlikely to prescribe for you as anything that hasn’t been passed by NICE.

same with LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone).

however i had LDN prescribed by a private doctor after which my GP agreed to take over prescribing.

Didnt really find any benefits with CBD oil, and it was a fairly high dose. Maybe the cream will be better, and as we know everyones different.

Loulla,

I am a regular user of CBD paste and I find it very effective.

Take a look at the following threads which I hope will be of some interest.

If you have any further questions please ask me and I will do my best to answer you.

Best wishes

Alun

i take cannabis high in cbd it is great for pain and to help me sleep i wouldn’t be able to cope without it.

I have tried oil, paste and vaping. The paste (raw extract) seems to work best for me, really helps with pain. I get the green and purple paste from cbd brothers. The key is to start low and slow, with oil it’s one drop three times a day for about a week or so then adding another drop for another week and titrating up until you find what works. With pastes you start with a half grain of rice. It can takes weeks to months to fully wake up the endocanniboid system and get the relief. Some people do get instant results though. Also there needs to be a 2 hour gap between cbd and oral meds/supplements.

I’d always discuss these alternative medicines with your neurologist. While it seems likely that you can get benefits from some ‘alternatives’, it is important to understand that you take into account any possible interactions between the prescription drugs you may be taking and the alternatives.

It’s a difficult question to answer whether it works, but I read on CBD news it does
