I guess that the best way to make this work is for those who want, to give phone number and email to (say) two people, on a “not to be given out” basis.
If (say) I do not appear for more than a few days, a request can be made to “Whoever has the number for Geoff” to check and see if all is well.
I am keeping away from this, as I should be moving “Ooop north” sometime soon, and my phone number, and possibly my e-mail will change. But after that …
