Bugger. Never mind the Gin will defo help your plight Carole. To be honest, in a way I’m glad it’s raining, I will not be having a repeat of a Shiraz fuelled hangover, it’s too wet to paint the fence xx
Best of luck CD. We’ll miss you and will attempt to make sense of what happens in the Fog to give you a bit of a resume when you return. And don’t worry, we won’t leave you behind in the invasion. You’ll be essential to the Foggy Force.
Hopefully all will go well for you.
I’ll be thinking of you. And with a bit of luck you’ll not miss too many Steam Punk events. Tell Mr Dragon not to worry too much. And to take care of himself while you are recuperating. We need our able bodied partners to take extra care of themselves.
Turns out that my “urgent” appointment won’t be till Tuesday morning, so I’ll be around till then. Thanks for the good wishes.
My latest brain fog episode: there’s a thread about the government stopping funding for DMTs, which turns out not to be true. I mentioned it to Hubby, grumbling about scaremongering titles. I posted about it on another forum I’m a member of. By the time I’d finished posting I’d forgotten that I’d told him, so I told him again. I know it’s possible to forget something in less than 10 seconds because I’ve done it myself. This is the first time that I’ve forgotten that I told someone something in less than 10 minutes.
Hi CD. I am hoping you do not have a retinal tear. In 2009 I was on holiday and suddenly noticed flashing light and floaters in my right eye. In 2011 I had a similar experience with my left eye. The flashing light stopped after several months but I am left with the floaters although I have gradually adjusted to them and do not find them so aggravating now. On each occasion I visited Moorfields A & E and I was told there was no retinal tear but I had PVD - posterior vitreous detachment which is quite common as you age. There was no treatment necessary so hopefully this will be the same for you. Hope all goes well. Sue
Ok. I’m a tad disengaged at the mo, my lovely MIL, no jokes, is being investigated for Cancer. She is a lovely person & really doesn’t deserve this. So, if I’ve been twittering I apologise. If I can’t tell you lot, I don’t know who I can. I’m surrounded by loads of peeps, but you lot are my mates, sorry if I’ve dampened things, not intentional xx
Oh Tracey, I’m so sorry. I know your family is a close one. And I truly hope it’s not cancer. If it happens to be cancer, hopefully it’ll be curable. Many cancers are curable now.
And of course, we are your mates. You can’t spend as much time in other people’s company without them being your friends.
My love to you and all the best wishes in the world to Mrs DC Senior and all the DC family.
Sorry to hear your news, Tracey. It puts my eye problems in perspective. I hope your MIL doesn’t have cancer. If she does, I hope they’ve caught it in time to treat it. Best wishes to all concerned.
Turns out the answer was zips! Obvious really. No matter how hard I tried neither buttons or pockets or buttons on pockets or pockets of buttons would hold the glitter!
