wow what a lot of thought has gone into the pockets v buttons thing. i’ll come back later with my own thoughts on it! my own pet hate is the 5p coin. ridiculously tiny and it is an evil thing. hiding in the corners of my purse!
Kin hell Sue!! Didn’t realise it was that expensive, mind you if it’s nice…xxx
Don’t you worry Chrissie, no money will exchange hands, franks, ferters or any currency. I will be happy to swop peas for Gin, 1 pea a litre, seems fair xx
I suppose it would make a difference if our tipple was £30.05 Carole then it would be a friend. xx
Here’s £30.10.
Keep the change.
Awwww, thank you Mr D.
harsh but funny, considering the rest of his thread
M
Personally, I’m like the queen, never carry money. So pockets can be as capacious as they like, and 5p coins as small as they please, it makes no difference to me.

Sue
Just imagine a banknote with a Goose (or duckface) very queeny

Keep the change.
hello
just dropping in to let you know i’m still alive,
really knackered and need my bed.
good night xxx
Carole, what you been up to missus!!! Shall me, you & Sue go sharezies with the £135 3 litre Gin? Mr D has given me 5p towards it. Sue has 100 ducks towards it, again from Mr D. If you ask nicely, I’m sure he will treat you too. He’s not such a tight ass is hexx
Ooh, well we could try to scrape up enough funds to share the box … so long as I don’t have to drink a whole litre, I’m too much of a lightweight. I could maybe try my hardest … faint heart never won fair pink gin!!

Just letting you know that I may have to “disappear” for a while. I’ve recently been having problems with a large floater in my good eye (no jokes, please), combined with flashes of light when I’m in a dark room. I saw an optician yesterday and she said that i may have a retinal tear (she could actually see the floater when she looked into my eye!). This often precedes retinal detachment, so it needs to be treated ASAP. I’m expecting a call from the ophthalmology department of the hospital that deals with emergency cases. If I do need eye surgery, I may not be able to see well enough to use a computer. I’ll be back when I can see again.
All the best CD, hope you feel better soon and can see properly very soon.
Mick
Good luck Cheerful, hope all goes well, see you very soon xxx
We’ll do our very best Sue! Sure between us we can empty the box. Now all we need is for Mr D to donate to Carole, as he’s being so generous at the moment, lovely, lovely man xx
