I have been off my strong pain meds, (shortec and fentanyl transdermal patches) for nearly 12 months, everything is good, apart from bowel problems which started immediately upon stopping the meds. If anyone has been through the same thing I would be grateful for help and advice.

Really just bumping you up hoping someone will reply with useful advice. Great you’ve come off your pain meds. There is not much detail to your post but I am thinking that the pain meds bunged you up. So therefore when you stopped them are you having urgency problems??? This is just me guessing. So if you can give more detail others may be able to help you more.
