I have an appointment for bladder botox and would like to know if anyone else who has weak pelvic floor muscles has had the injections and if they were any help as I’m worried that if my bladder is more full and I sneeze or cough I’ll be in trouble!
Yes! My pelvic floor muscles were measured as zero! I think it is wonderful and have had it 3 times now.
I do catheterise around 5 times a day but that’s not a problem for me. I do it around 8.30pm and last all the way through till 8am the next morning which after getting up several times a night is great!
The first day after the first lot was terrible and I thought it had made things worse but after that no problems at all.
Go for it and enjoy getting your life back!

Hello Sue,
I hope to be prescribed Botox later this month. My problems are bladder spasms and urge frequency coupled with incontinence. I had to stop taking anticholinerics for my urodynamics test and it was a daily wet-out, not a bundle of laughs.
It will be wonderful to get a full nights sleep, usually woken up after about 6 hours to have a pee but when I get out of bed the sense of urgency has gone - grrr

I’ve been offered botoxfor my bladder, which despite having an spc, still spasms painfully and by passes sometimes.
I’m trying oxybutynin patches and betmiga.
The jury’s still out!

I had every problem under the sun with my bladder. Had Botox last week and now I’m great.
I use catheters 4-5 times per day. No problem at all.
Don’t need the mirror and can pee like a man if I like lol
Hello Tilly 2
I like good news, lets hear more like this

Finally get my second stab at botox on Tuesday; first didn’t really work that well. Getting 300 ml this time instead of 200. Cant remember if I’ll have to get up at night to cath.
