Has anyone had a bladder scan what do they do my ms nurse is sending me for one as i cant wee
I had one in hospital but like baby scan hey see how much is in ur bladder you go wee they see how much is left You’ll be fine x
Good i was worried it was going to be internal thats gonna be a prpblem then as it takes anout 9 hours to have a wee no matter how hard i try x
No it is just like Em says. They put a bit of jelly on your lower tum and scan you before you go to the loo then scan you again after you have been to the loo and they will tell you if any is retained.
If you can’t go then just tell them that.

The bladder scan is just as described. However the continence nurse did give me an internal, just a quickie, to see if I could achieve a pelvic floor contraction. I can’t. But really it is nothing to fear. x
