Your pain comes through so clearly. The great thing about this forum is how safe it feels to be real. I wish I could make you a cup of tea, give you a hug and listen to you tell me all about him. It’s a real reminder that our partners are like us, not perfect, no human is but the one we love is everything. So so sorry for your loss and the horrible, difficult time you are going through.
Yes I will remember your words next time I wonder about my relationship, and I will give him an extra big cuddle next time he is home. Your words are a real reminder not to take people for granted and to value every moment.

Thanks for all the kind messages. I would have posted this sooner but I’m still coming to terms with the loss.
