Bad day but why?

I have just got up having been in bed all day, I slept near on all day and while I did wake a few times I missed most of the snooker news etc. I could hardly stand I know use a zimmer but could hardly move with that but now am up and feel much better. ??? but what was going on? I cant understand this roller coaster

Hello Hop, who knows the secrets? Sometimes I have a normal placid day and I have to use the loo three times an hour then have to be carried to bed. Some mornings I get up after very little sleep and power on through the day, managing to get to the pub and not have to water the grass half way home. Sme days I feel capable of taking on anything yet the very next day it’s glued to the bed. We do what we can when we can. Hope this helps understanding what cannot be comprehended!. Best wishes, Steve.

Cheers Steve goodness only knows what was going on I am back in bed now after a meal and some TV and ready for sleep, knackered doing nowt… nite nite

Don you’re right it’s a funny illness. I too have days when I’m quite well and others where many parts of my body appear very broken. Maybe once or twice a month I’ll sleep for the best part of 48 hours, don’t know why or when it’ll be but it’s as if my body needs to play catch up. I wouldn’t be too concerned if you feel well afterwards but if it’s unusual for you, maybe keep an eye open for signs of an infection.

Hope you feel better now. Take care.

Happened to me yesterday after three really good days. I’ve stopped trying to analyse it. I just hunker down to ride it out. Sleep. Hope you’ve picked up again to day.

Hope you have a better day today Don, Nina x

Hi Don

At first reading your post, I immediately thought infection, but to feel ok afterna while, I thought not.

I think it is just one of the ups and downs associated with this unpredictable illness, but you did the right thing by sleeping when you have to.

Hope today is better for you.

Yep, I’m sickly at the moment, it floors me now so I don’t think it takes much now.

I had a bit of an upset tummy, so left work early on Tues…l slept most of day Weds so assumed I’d be fine the next day but I was exhausted. Projectile vomitting started mid-morning and made me really relieved I didn’t go to work yesterday and that carried on into the early hours this morning sigh

I’ve managed a mug of tea and some water so far today, so think crosses fingers I’m getting past it - I’m on antibiotics for a UTI so I guess I should expect that I’d be feeling a bit rubbish this week.

I’m going to mooch around this weekend and hope next week is better

Hope you feel better soon Sonia. Is it the infection or antibiotics that upset you? If it’s the meds you might need a change of type or strength. It sounds like it’s quite nasty but I hope you manage to rest over the weekend.

Glad you’re ok today Don
