Hello,
I’m new to the forum. I get sick often, for instance I had 4 fevers in the past month and a half. I have small children who bring home illnesses but no one gets as sick as me…anytime i have the smalles cold, my body develops a fever. I had a fever a couple weeks ago and as my fever came on I also had tingling and severe skin sensitivity in my legs. This has never happened to me before. The tingling subsided but it hurt to walk on my feet for another 4 days. After that, the tingling and pain went away for a week then it randomly reappeared in my legs. It has now been consistent for a week and spread to my arms. I also experienced pressure/ache in parts of my spine the last 2 days. I don’t have any numbness or weakness- just tingling and sometime pins and needles in my arms. I had a full blood test and everything came back normal. My doctor said she doesn’t think it’s MS but reluctantly referred me to a neurologist since I’m so concerned. She said it will take months to be seen which is worrisome. It appears that tingling is a common first sign of MS. I also had a bad case of mono in my 20s which i read was strongly related to development of MS. Has anyone had a similar experience?
