another update on sis in law

Afternoon playmates!

Im so pleased to be able to tell you that hubbys sis, in canada, had her op tp remove lung tumour and a bit of the lung too, on Thursday.

The op went well. There has been a worrying leak from where her staples are, but they are keeping a close eye on it.

The PET scan proved no further cancer anywhere else in her body.

They actually said she is cancer free!!! She may be having chemo to make sure.

But, this, after the initial prognosis was so poor…3 months to live!

She`s had a full set of radium therapy on her head, so that no cells were left from the brain tumour.

She`s doing well. What lovely news.

All being well, home on Tuesday.

See, never give up hope, eh?

Luvly jubbly!

What a difference a week makes…this time last week, my hubby was crying for his sister and me, with that rediculous quack telling me I may lose my legs…honestly!

luv Pollx

Oh what lovely brilliant news, and I hope in the future she stays well, with lots of care she should be able now to look foward.

What a dreadful time of it youve all had, especially you Poll - cant imagine what its like thinking the legs may go!

Im so pleased shes finally got the all clear message, wonderful, now concentrate on your lovely family and staying well yourself love.

Oh that is such a relief for your sister in law Poll. It’s going to be tough for her but at least she is going to come out at the other end now. Your poor hubby dealing with the latest ordeal for you and his sister. Good job you have got each other. Take good care luv Linda x

That is good news Poll. Glad it is something really hopeful for her. I am sorry your hubby has had worries about you and his sister to stress him. However, I am sure he is heaving a huge sigh of relief! Love Teresa xx

Thanks everyone for your kind words of support.

Even more amazingly…got a call at 9.30 last night and expected it to be a nuisance cold call and…a little tired sounding voice said, Hello you.... it was Cynthia!

She was home from hospital. She sounded so tired and weak, bless her.

It was lovely to hear her voice. I had a few words with her and then gave the phone to hubby, who spent a good 15 mins chatting.

luv Pollz
