Hi gang. had a sad e mail from hubbys bro, in Canada today. Their siss cancer has spread and she has lung, liver, bone, plus remains of the brain tumour. Shes been told chemo is pointless, but radiotherapy may prolong her life. Shes been given 3 - 12 months.
I am sorry to hear that Poll I understand what you must be going through as I remember when I was told my dad had a brain tumor that was the size of a golf ball and in a part of the brain where they could not operate.
My heart felt feelings go out to you and hope you get through it
Hi Poll So sorry to hear about this sad news. My aunty died from a brain tumour last year and there was nothing that could be done for her. Thinking of you and your family, Teresa xx
Oh Poll, Im so very sad for you and your extended family abroad. It must be so hard not to be able to be there so to speak, but you are on the phone and maybe sending mail.
When someone is so ill it tears us apart not knowing what to do for the best. I hope shes not in pain and has meds to cater for such.
Im so very sorry Poll, it cant be easy to accept and then get used to her short period of time left. I know youll send them loads of support. I send you too (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))), wishing we could take away some of the sad news and share your pain.
If it is any help my Auntie, had the same problem, sadly she passed away in Feb.[no help i know but she was given 3 months but lasted a year just to proof them wrong i think]
In the end she was well looked after at our local hospital.[and people moan about NHS].
You and yours are going through a bad year i can only hope that your luck changes soon.
Sending you a warm cuddle wrap it round you.[not a lover of hugs as i get this a lot]
