Hi, I wonder if anyone can help on this one, I’m just starting on pregabalin, 50mg 3 x day, not going in on this straight away, working upto this over 3 week’s, replacing gabepentin, of which I take 600mg 3 x aday, I’ve just read the leaflet, and it says, advise people not to drink alcohol when taking this medication, well I don’t drink alot, but do like an odd glass or 3 at the weekends, (white wine) is this still ok, or is this something I’ll have to give up, oh I do hope not, as like everyone on here we have to give so much up, thanks in advance, ANON x
hi
i’m on 600mg pregabalin a day amongst other pills and i still enjoy a few beers…
cheers
baz
thanks baz, well then I think a could still enjoy a couple of glasses of wine, cheers, ANON
You know what Anon? If a couple of glasses makes you feel better, have em!!! So far Ive been on that many different drugs, Ive forgotten em all! I too (like many of us) enjoy a couple over the weekend (cider, mmmm!) & had no real side effects due to the various drugs, however not everyones the same & some absorb things quicker than others, it just might make you absorb the alcohol faster, thus getting a little more p***** than usual, enjoy!!! Tracey xx
I have to say I had to work hard at building up my tolerance to booze and Baclofen, but I hung in there and thank goodness I am back to my usual boozy self.
