I have various symptoms of MS mainly pain and fatigue. I also have somtimes numb toes on one foot. A few months ago my eye went a bit odd. It was a strange flashing at the outside of my left eye it only lasted about 30 minutes then returned to normal. Does ON last for days or weeks?
Hi Anon, ON can last weeks and even months.
However very easy to get it checked. Go to your optician or pop into any optician, or see your GP.

Flashing on the outside of your eye could have several causes ranging from a harmless posterior vitreous detachment (absolutely nothing to worry about, quite normal as people age) or retinal detachment (which can require emergency treatment - you would know if you had this because your vision would be affected) or maybe a migraine.
I think ON lasts for about 6 weeks on average, but it certainly doesn’t come and go quickly.
As Pat said, the best thing to do is to see an optician or your GP and get a referral to an ophthalmologist to be sure.
