A simple act of kindness

Today i was touched by a simple act of kindness, I was having a bad day with Molly, she was really sad having been rejected yet again by one of her friends…its hard enough being a teenager but being autistic too is awful, We decided that the day wouldn’t be over but we’d try to do something fun… so Chester it was, on the bus because we are free with our disabled passes, but having watched her cry all the way there it wasn’t looking good as we got in to Primark her favourite shop, i desperately wished that i had stayed at home. she just wasn’t cheering up and then this lovely shop assistant stepped in, she was so kind and so understanding…, since becoming ill iv lost all confidence in picking clothes for myself or Molly,… i sat in my chair feeling completely overwhelmed and bit tearful as well, but the kindness of that shop assistant was amazing she picked out two gorgeous outfits complete with boots and took Molly in the changing rooms and made sure everything was perfect and all me and Frazer had to do was just nod with approval when she came out to show us. Well done Primark I’m going to send a letter to say how lovely it was shopping in their store and what a difference Suzanne made.

That’s really lovely (and nice that you are going to write to Primark too.) I bet the horrible woman in the car park hasn’t been as lucky with the people she has dealt with today. Ultimately, good goes to good.

Hi Michellle

What a lovely assistant in Primark, I agree she does deserve some praise for her kindness, although she probably does not realise just how much her help that day meant to both you and your daughter.

Made me smile, thanks.

Hugs to you and Molly plus a high five for Frazer with a doggie treat for good measure.

Hi Michelle, what a beautiful person your shop assistant is. Going that extra mile in customer service might not have felt so special to her as she must have a naturally good soul and clearly cares. It really is a kindness and helped you more than she’ll ever know. Restores my faith in humanity.
