My granny used to love the wrestling on Saturday afternoons too and often got scolded by my mum who was trying to set her hair into rollers at the same time. Granny used to get a bit worked up and didn’t keep still enough for mum to do her hair, ha ha. Ah, happy memories of both of them.

Hope you manage to go Ellie and that things look up for you soon

I used to watch wrestling with my dad…still like it…like most sports. Hope you feel more like your old self soon and get to see the wrestling  xx

I’m afraid I can’t share your love. My brother was obsessed by it and used to practice on me, not pleasant, just thankful I was young. As he’s now 6ft 3 and I’m 5 2 lol. Hope you get to go and ur feeling better. I’ve been pretty rubbish this week to so big hugs Em x

Sending love and hoping you get your outing. My weekly outings are the highight of my week, so I know how you feel.

hiya all

i made it! front row-i could smell the sweat! all good til my daughter said to me-they are whispering to each other! so i had to tellher the truth lol. she was impressed when one came over to talk with me-we used to work together! but primarily the whole thing reminds me of my time at the ring with my grandad

Hi Ellie

Glad you made it and enjoyed yourself. So nice when we can revisit happy times. Looks like you are passing it on to the next generation.

Glad you got to go Ellie and hope you are feeling a bit better.

I remember Thurs nights at the Bristol Colston Hall watching Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks, Mick McManus and Hulk Hogan. Those were the days.

Take care.
