hi lucy

cleaning is quite a physical job so no wonder you’re tired.

maybe you need a couple of days off to rest and plan what to do next.

look into what benefits you can claim.

DLA/PIP, employment support allowance and possibly others.

you may be fine to carry on cleaning once you’ve had a rest.

good luck

Hi hun, sorry to hear how much you are struggling.

Fatige is a huge part of this damned illness.

I had to give up work altogether within a year of starting with mobility problems.

Does your employer offer any retirement on ill health grounds packages?

Sounds to me like you would qualify for ESA.

Hi, cleaning is a demanding job, lots of movement involved, bending, lifting etc and probably not that much time allowed to do the job in. I wonder, do you work for a cleaning company or do you work for a company which does other jobs too. I’m asking because if you work for a company that has other jobs do you think you might be able to relocate to a more office based job. Cheryl:-)

I had to give up my job last year due to unpredictable physical and mental difficulties, and severe fatigue. It’s a really tough decision to make, I still miss my job, but there is help out there. I hope you’re able to find a solution that works for you. Kaz xxx

Hi all thx for replying, the company i work for is world wide so they do alot of different things . Im contantly getting alot of urine infections just about every second week have been for months now so started self Catheter about a month ago as bladder not emptying properly ,the only time i go out is to my work with fear i might need the loo, i walk so far my legs just slow right down but i just try to keep going ,im of on holiday for Easter so got another week to see if i pick up . My ms nurse says he doesn’t think it anything new just a worsening of my symptoms but this has all drained me and making me feel more tired and not myself Lucy
