Hi recently diagnosed RRMS. l noticed if l have a hot bath all the MS symptoms get alot worse, walking and leg tremor gets lot worse but only temprory. What is the reason for this, can hot baths actually do damage .
I’m not sure why heat makes MS symptoms worse but e.g in the days before MRIs one of the diagnostic tests for MS was to see how the patient was after a hot bath.
For me and many MS folk heat makes my symptoms much worse , especially a general fatigue/ weariness and much as I used to like warm sunny days I now stay out of the sun on hot days. Other MS folk experience similar in cold weather . I guess that the body is having to spend a lot of energy keeping cool/warm

Hi, I loathe the heat, it kills me and makes everything worse and then on the flip side, so does the cold, so I’m between the devil and the deep blue 
Same here heat and the cold are a nightmare if I could live in a place with permanent spring weather I’d just about do fine

Sometimes when I have a hot shower I can get extremely itchy afterwards, never thought whether this could be MS related.
