there used to be a list of your buddies and now its gone.
i used to pm a few people, havent seen them post for ages and dont know how to find them.

Hi Carole, the buddy lists got lost when we came onto new website. If you create buddy list now you’ll see them on left of screen. We lost some regular users too so might not be able to find them.

Hi, I am able to see my most recent buddies listed on the EL page, but the ones I made before those are nowhere to be seen! ?
On the right hand side of the page, there is send message facility. If you can recall the names of any of your buddies, just click on that and you will be able to type and send a pm.
It has worked for me.
