What is/why is this happening?

I noticed last weekend that I have lostthe ability to move my toes on my left foot. When I try really hard I can get a sort of flicker of movement and it’s not muscle tightness as they moved freely when I use my hand to move them.

What is this being caused by? & is it normal?

I’ve also noticed that me legs are weaker than normal and that I cannot lift my legs straight up off of the matress at all now when lying in bed and that I have the shakes worse than normal especially in my left hand.

What is going on here? Can these symptoms be caused by stress (My OH and I are having issues and I’m struggling to manage my credit card debt as teh bank are being very difficult)?

Weakness etc has always pretty much been on both sides with the left being slightly worse than the right.

My GP etc aren’t interested in doing further investigation.

I’m also completely exhausted all the time and managed to get out of bed for a hour yesterday and that was it.

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with this as I’m really struggling :frowning:

Stress can cause pretty much anything, but I do think that your GP should be investigating it even if they think it’s stress. The simple fact is that you need help and it’s their job to try and provide it.

So I would say try again with your GP. Make sure that you explain how bad things are and ask for help. If your GP won’t help, then I think it’s time to find a new GP.
