Had a horrible time last night and almost had my partner take me to hospital. It started with the right side of my back feeling really cold but was warm to the top, then it spread down my leg to my foot. Some parts felt cold inside and others hot. Some pins and needles decided to join in along with cramp like feelings and spasms. It is such a long wait till a neuro appointment 
I am on 100mgs a day pregabalin, 20mgs amitriptyline, also take co codamol. I took all my tablets and put the electric blanket on which helped a little.
Just wish I could find out what is wrong, my thinking and concentration is rubbish, speech difficulities again too. As I type this my hands have pins and needles and I can feel my right leg doing its silly thing. The dizzy spells are making me feel sick. How do you get through the limbo?
I am on ESA and have my Atos appoitment next Friday where I know they will decide I am fit to work, too much stress, sorry just needed to rant.

Hi Angela, sorry you are having a rough time. I have had experience of this too. Last year my feet were so hot I had to spend lots of time with them in cold water! Then recently my arm felt strange, like it was dislocated and my hand and wrist felt so cold I spent about 2 weeks wearing a woolly glove. The dizzy spells are hideous too, a bit like a hangover without the fun. Limboland is a rotten place to be, I am there too and unfortunately, my Neuro has just decided that there’s nothing wrong with me because all my tests are clear which won’t help with my tribunal for them to decide if I can work or not!, all I can say is rant away, there are so many great people on here, not only to offer advice but also to offer a shoulder. Just a thought, but 100mg of pregabalin is a low dose - maybe your GP would be willing to increase it to get you through this bad patch?

Hi Kirstie, sounds awful, how frustrating to be told there is nothing wrong, when clearly there is. I worry about that, if I have all this stuff going on and nothing is wrong then I will have to live with it.
Karen I had read that you can take up to 150mg of pregabalin, is that right? Also do you know if it is just morning and night or can it be taken 3 times a day? I started out on 50, then 75, now 100.
My doctor is finally paying attention, she called to see if I had received a neuro appointent yet, which I haven’t but wants me to come and see her for a full examination, that will be the first one she has given me since this all started, a little late! lol. She had dismissed all of the symptons that I had given her except pain which is why she sent me to rheumatology. I actually had everything writting down, she just glanced over it and gave it back so none of the other symptoms were written on my notes. Shes very sweet though, just not on the ball.
