Hi, I’m looking to purchase a Motomed viva 2 leg and arm trainer for a friend with progressive ms. If anyone has one not being used I’d be interested in hearing from you.
I`ve looked at these machines in magazines. They look good, but are sooooo expensive at 3k ish! But I believe you can rent them now too.

They are expensive yes. Was hoping to pick up one second hand. I do realise they can be rented but it would suit better if we could acquire one on a long term basis. Thanks for your reply.
I have never heard anyone on this section of the forum mention these machines so you may find you can get an answer on the everyday living section…it’s a much busier section of the forum.
Wishing you luck,
Nina
Thanks Nina
l have seen these exercise machines in magazines - and l do think you can do similar with a simple cycling machine. l have one that l sit and cycle - you can change the resistance. lt measures how many revolutions you do and calories you use. Also you can put it on a table to and use it for your arms. Got mine from amazon for about £20. Also, resistance bands are an excellent way to exercise and strengthen every part of your body. A Pilates teacher would help with this.
l have PPMS [34yrs] and know the importance of keeping as fit as possible. l have an eliptical trainer and a HealthRider plus a Powerplate machine. As l cannot walk unaided l need to be able to do as much as l can.
l am following the Dr Coimbra Protocol for Vitamin D - and we are supposed to do 30mins exercise daily. Look on facebook for Vitamin D Protocol North America for info. lts beginning to work for me. l do not take any ms drugs. Just the vitd3/magnesium/k2 and B2/omega 3.
That’s very helpful. Thank you.
