Walking stick

Hi everyone! Am unfortunately thinking about getting a stick and wondered if anyone could tell me the name of the one with the special handle which spreads the weight evenly. I read it on here a while ago but can no longer remember what it was called! Thanks Tree65

It’s a Fischer handle. Not to be confused with orthopaedic handles which are much smaller. You can usually only get the Fischer handled ones in silver or black. If you find a site with some in bright colours or patterned ones then please let me know! I could use some variety :slight_smile: Karen x

Hey Karen aidmobility seem to have jazzy ones, just ordered one with a Paisley pattern! Tree65

Also a good place to look is Switch sticks (google them) I have a lovely funky stick from them!! :wink: Clarexxx

Another good place to look is charity shops. I just got a bog standard one for £2.50.
