Greetings.
Found out my support worker is leaving her post today. It’s made me quite sad.
Trusting people seems an issue for me. Folks are dropping like flies.

Hi, ah that`s a shame, especially if you like her.
I`ve recently gone through the process of changing carers and yeh, it is a difficult thing to go through.
I had the same 3 carers for 5.5 years.
I had to sack one for her attitude and behaviour…she used to be fine, but she became a bully and opinionated.
Then another retired. I managed with just 1 and my hubby. But I`ve managed to find a replacement without too much trouble.
Im hoping my new lady sticks around for a good while. It isnt easy taking a stranger into your life and its most intimate regions!!!

You are right Terry its hard trusting people and then if we do and we grow to love them and then they leave, its awful. I have two fantastic Carers at the moment. I pay them out of my direct payments id dread it if they left. We often joke that its like working for royalty and they mustn’t ever write a book…but i really mean that, confidentiality is so important, Its not a joke i feel so vulnerable and would be devastated if ever anyone breached that trust.

Trust no longer counts. Once people know you have severe PPMS, they form a queue. Luckily I have common sense. It doesn’t help much, but avoiding the idiots is a must. That’s the difficult part.
Stay safe folks. Time to buy a photo copier & elope to Iceland. Them hot sulphur springs look lush.

Terry don’t lose all trust there are still some people out there with good hearts ive been hurt in the past not by carers but a family member, ive had to move on im not going to let things ruin my life, i think there are more people like us i’d rather die than hurt anyone. " Treat others as you want them to treat you"… said in similar words …famous quote from the good book.
Have a good time eloping to Iceland, my house is full of spiders too, my carer is scared of them so she jut leaves them be.

Thanks & I agree. The spiders are my m8ts. I’m jealous they have so many legs to rely on.
My legs don’t know what they’re doing from one day to another. The cramping days I hate.
It seems to spread everywhere, which tells me it’s nap time. The Vicks helps. Deep breaths & staying calm.
The trust issues have been with me for years. Some people are just a waste of space. Opportunistic!
