So sorry to hear about the little baby boy,its truly heartbreaking when this happens.
I lost my grandad to bladder cancer a couple of years ago.
He was such a lovely man and it was awful to see his suffering. He slept constantly towards the end and then passed away in his sleep at home with family with him.
So sorry to hear this Poll, my uncle died of cancer of the oesophagus many years ago. The MacMillan nurses cared for him at home so he could end his days with his wife and family around him. It’s a very cruel disease. I hope your sil is receiving similar care at home and she isn’t in too much pain. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
How awful for you all. Poll…sending you hugs (((()))) My sister who is a barrister’s clerk had awful news last week when one of her barristers who was a QC lost her battle with cancer. She was a fantastic QC and just shows that cancer respects NO-ONE!! luv Linda x
As I said, hubby rang last night…Cynthia is asleep most of the time and on a drip. When she does wake she knows no-one. Craig wants to keep her at home, not in a hospice. She has all the care she needs.
Craig sounded as if he was going to break down…I`m not surprised. This has gone on so long.
I cant imagine how horrendous it must be, to watch your long term loved one deteriorate to the point where they dont recognise you. Horrendous, simply devastating.
