I am undiagnosed but have been told I have a high chance of developing MS due to CIS and MRI found lesions in my brain and spine.
I recently saw my neurologist who suggested I take VITD3 at 4,000iu. I have been looking online and can’t find a website that sells vit d at this level. Does anyone here take this level of VITD3 and where do you get it from???
I buy Healthy Origins 5,000iu vitamin D3 from amazon. It’s reasonably priced and quick delivery.
Actually, just looked - the price has gone down so it is now really cheap!

(I know it’s not 4,000iu, but 4,000iu is a really silly recommendation because no one makes it (that I know of anyway)! Most of us take 5,000iu a day.)

It can be prescribed by your GP
I get vitamin d 10,000iu on prescription and they give me 3 months supply at once so only one prescription fee so it’s much cheaper than buying on the Internet. So your gp should be able to prescribe some or speak to the neuros secretary and ask them to organise a prescription
The Healthy Origins softgels that Karen recommends are so reasonably priced that they work out cheaper than a prescription, even if you take two a day to get your 10,000iu - 360 5,000iu softgels for under £10!

That’s helpful to know thanks Wendy I will check that out
best place to get Vit B is from Sunlight , not easy in the winter though
I get my Vitamin D on prescription, as I was tested recently and was deficient. I had to take 15 x 20,000 in one day and now I’m just taking 2 x 20,000 a week. I do an annual pre-paid prescription, so works out cheaper for me that way.

Thanks everyone.
Karen, I used your link and ordered 360 capsules for £9.69, and with free delivery!. So that should last me a whole year…thankyou.
I get my soft 5000iu highest strength capsules from BigVits. It’s a postal service. Stamp Big Vits into a search engine.
