Life has chanfed a lot for me. I now live on my own since june 20 as my younest of 4 has steeped inti the world.
I have the continuwd supprt of my carers who have been with me simce 2013
I was a stsff nurse for 12 years then barita for 5 and loved both as I learned so much about human behaviout.
I met many folk in realityu from these boards (some of whom are no longer with us) but I learned so much fron them so am eternallly grateful to them.
Any repl8es from me may be short and garbled but trust they are heartfelt not only basefd on personal ecerience but listening to others. (tavish and sadaya spring immediatelyy to mind)
I remember you so it’s lovely that you’ve posted again. Sorry to hear your eyesight has suffered but glad that you’ve got help and are coping. We all try and find ways round our symptoms. .
Life has changed for everyone with Covid and think everyone is feeling lonely. With your four children flown the nest you’ll need to find something to fill your time. I live alone but am still teaching online so that keeps me out of trouble.
I’ve been told that I’m in phase 6 for vaccination. One level up from my age group. Let’s hope that once we’re vaccinated then life can get a little better and we can meet up with friends again.
great to hear from you. Your eyesight issues sound like a horrible pain in the butt. What an amazing achievement to have & raise kids to the point when they can make their own way. I am in awe of all parents (with or without health issues)
Great to hear from you, Ellie - so nice to see the once-familiar ‘chocorange’ name pop up again. You used to be called something else before that, didn’t you? When we were all much younger!
I am sorry that your eyes have been so bady affected and that your MS makes life so difficult for you. It is so good to have you back, with your wise words and good example of making the most of life.
i am not lonwly-far from it-some days theres not enouygh hours in the day! my best time of day is 11-3 ish. outwith then its variable what happens.
covid has not affetes my life too much, the eyesight and bowel has dramayically. i have an a4 size magnifying class which does make words larfer but its still like looking through thick glass with one eye (theres onkly been light and dark in the other for 8/9 years)
