Has anybody had this? Basically my top right lips has gone weak. When u get tired I slur my speech When my top lip isn’t working properly. Has any of you guys ever experienced anything similar
Hi. Your post made me think! I do get something like this quite often and never really thought about it before but I’m sure it’s an MS thing. I always think of it as a ‘oops, must put my teeth in’ kind of thing (I do have all my teeth!) where I can’t quite articulate a word.
And on this topic, here’s a funny thing:- I’ve been going to French conversation classes for many years. I’ve a good standard of conversation and this is an enjoyable way of not losing it - a very relaxed class with two other ladies and the teacher is also a friend of mine. I’ve found that some words are really difficult to pronounce in French now - it’s like my brain isn’t getting the message across properly. And dates - e.g. saying a year in French - such as 1991 - well, that’s gone now. My mind just goes blank! Maybe it’s just age though but it does feel MS-y! My classmates can’t relate to this but I bet that the people on here will!

Hi
I’ve had relapses where one side of my face has drooped, including my lip. Generally it’s behaved like most relapses in that over time it’s got better.
Obviously, this doesn’t help if your MS is progressive.
Otherwise, there’s nothing I can say to help. Sorry.
