Well today is the day my journey to diagnosis starts.
I am meeting with a consultant today. It’s with general medicine so not sure what to expect.
So nervous as I am scared he will just poo poo everything off and not want to take it any further…

Hey ya’all
Well…not sure what I was expecting…but was in with the consultant for over an hour. He read through all the symptoms sheets I brought him starting from 10 years + up to today.
He started off wanting to blame everything on my previous B12 deficiencies but I told him I just had a blood test in June and it was clear…as were my red blood count.
So he listened to my heart and lungs and did reflex test on me which was good.
He then said he was sending me for a MRI and for me to come back and see him in three months. He prescribed me 100mg of Thiamine to take along with my B-12 and Vit D3.
So on one hand am happy he is taking me seriously and ordered the MRI but not sure how I feel about not getting any further information. Is this normal?
