Hello, Just wondering if having a positive tinel’s sign in the test for carpal tunnel ‘rules out’ M.S and mean symptoms like tingling, numbness, pins and needles is definitely caused by something different or if, since it apparently means it shows an irritated nerve, it could be positive but be caused by M.S rather than carpal tunnel? That is phrased badly but hopefully makes sense! Does anyone here have a positive tinel’s sign which is down to M.S rather than carpal tunnel? Many thanks
Hi i have been having problems with buzzing and numbness to left arm and hand, numbness is in the last 3 fingers, this has been going on for 8 weeks, pain is subsiding but numbness and buzzing remains, i had a positive Hoffmans reflex and also a reflex in my foot. MRI full spine this week.
