Hey guys!
Had my day out yesterday. Got so wrapped up Heidi would look naked!!! Layers and layers of thermal stuff. Just felt cold around the knees when waiting for my hubby to pick me up at 5pm…wow! Me out at 5…and…in the dark!!!
We enjoyed lunch in a Harvester…then it was time to use the loo…after last weeks debacle, I was nervous, but didnt want my 2 Christines to know!
Once in the loo, we deliberated over where to place my towel that I stand on, as my boots have grippy soles and don`t help at all in transfers. Okay…take some of my layers off, out of the way…1…2…3…right, ready for the action now! Shuffle to the edge of my chair, press down on chair arms with hands/arms…start to stand…Christines get ready to push knees into lock mode…up…up…whoa…nah…down again!
I say to myself Right....come on Pauline........you HAVE to do this.......theres only a very slightly built Phillipino waitress on duty (so sweet and pretty…Joshumikka by name) so no gorgeous young studs to call on for help, like last week!!! Drat!
One more go…up…up…and… round…slide those feet…back of knees to loo…yes…yes…and down! Success!!! That`s was half the job done! Reverse session next!
It went well, in fact, it went excellently! The sigh of relief from the 3 of us was audible.
But by now it was only 15 mins to the start of the film we were going to see…Djano…the d is silent (if any of you go to see it, you`ll understand the significance of that).
Time to get the layers of the floor, wrap me up an exit the restaurant, toute de suite!
Bums! We just missed the upstairs wheelie place by 1 minute…as another wheelie person had bought it. So we paid and had to go to the front of the room…hell fire…those screens are big! That resulted in our favour…as you`ll understand if you go see the fim!!!
And wow! What a film! Very violent, gory but such a good story line. Worth seeing if you can stand the blood. I had to look away a few times.
Thats it folks. Next week it could be Flight, LincolnorThe Life of Pi`. Spoilt for choice, eh?
