The sudden wall.

Hello guys.

You know when you’re on a bit of a roll and you can keep going doing things. It’s so satisfying to get the daily chores done. Then you wake up the next morning and any form of movement has gone. It’s great to do things but I hate the way the beast makes me pay. If you’re in a wheelchair you need to remember that thongs take it out of you, even without the effort of standing up.

Best wishes, a knackered steve.

Hiya Steve I’m not surprised you’re feeling it man, I’ve been reading (an really enjoying I must say) your blogs recently and between all your cooking, socialising & trips into town/shops etc you’ve been a busy bloke. Some days after I’ve read them ive thought - right Rosie, you need to get your arse in gear & get moving! I’m sorry you’re feeling wiped out just now but rest up man, you deserve it. Hopefully after a couple days chilling out you’ll be back to fighting fit again. I look forward to your next blog too… x

ps - I’m assuming a typo with “thongs”?? But mibe not…?? Each to their own an all…

Hi Steve, i now have a great mental image…I won’t wear a " thong " in my wheelchair, thanks Libertine that was funny.

I know what you mean Steve, i call it pretending to be normal , but mentally and emotionally and physically doing all of these adventures leaves us exhausted, i find that when ive done one of my adventures im completely worn out for days, and my legs ache like ive been running even though ive just been sat in my chair. I think you are amazing. I also think you should write a recipe book for us on here, i really love the sound of all of your cooking.

Hi Steve

My imagination is running riot here…that did make me chuckle, thanks.

You are so right, ms has taught me over the years that if you fight it, it just bites harder, so time to chill now, although it is so frustrating when all we are doing is trying to be normal…whatever that is.

Curiously that would make it less obvious to type fastidiously in a vicarious manner.

How can we have a brilliant nights sleep (rare for me), then find I can hardly get out of bed. I just hit a massive wall have no idea why, as not overdone it for days. Oh well Neflix has been my friend lol.
