It is with a heavy heart, I finally have to sell Maude. She has given me so much pleasure for years, Maude is my Mini 40, I can’t and haven’t been able to drive her for quite a long time now…but I love my little car! Very sad😢
Oh no! I know that feeling. I sold my little white car with pink’ it’s’ a couple of years ago-even now I feel an urge to go out by myself to look at shops, etc. but I’m very lucky I have an amazing husband who is kindness personified. I do hope you are able to cope without your vehicle 
I hope Maude goes to a good home, who appreciates her as much as you did! I know it is just a car, but a car can give fun, adventures, independence and be linked to so many good memories, and therefore seems much more than being just a car.
I hope you have alternative ways of getting out and about, though it isn’t the same.
Glad it’s not just me! I have an amazing hubby too, he just doesn’t get ‘browsing’ lol! Got a lovely motability car, bright yellow Kia, only thing I don’t like is the old badge! I do like the new one though! It will be OK, I still have my little Dinky model😃
They might buy her at the refurb place I spoke to, just too much even for the paint now, never mind if she needed subframe, not seen her underneath for ages. But at least I know from there she’d only be going to someone who really wanted her! The guy I bought her from must have been 6’4", don’t know how he ever drove her! He gave her the name!
