thanks moderators

just want to thank the mods. it can’t be easy.

thinking of the posts by tigermoon.

it was hard to read and turn away, dont like the thought of anyone with ms having a rough time

however there was a dubious quality about it all.

thank you mods for locking the thread before it got nasty.

happy christmas to you all.

I appreciate how hard the moderators work but I would like to know why it was allowed to go on so long

I agree with the above. Thank you mods.

I just hope that they don’t put any more of those sort of posts on and will be closely watched. The whole thing made me feel really uncomfortable.

The Moderators are not just for Christmas and should be valued all year round. It’s easy for us to ignore posts if they don’t pass the smell test, but our Mods sometimes need to make a judgement call, which is far harder.

I agree with Derek. It must be almost impossible to tell who is genuine and who isn’t. They must constantly have to make judgment calls based on very little! Thanks Mods! Teresa xx

Merry Christmas to all the mods!

Play nice everyone so the mods can sit back and have a glass or two of Sherry.

Teresa.x

Thank you all.

Derek - a lovely thought but I can’t abide sherry. Val and I are fond of the occasional gin…and I do enjoy a wee glass of Lagavulin.

Let’s not forget the fact that the moderators are volunteers and without them, there would either be mayhem or all our posts would be in queues over the weekend.

We owe them a lot,

Merry Christmas all.

My thoughts exactly, I read that post and reported it for having a personal email address in it.

I did think about it and decided not to add a comment as I didn’t want to be unfair but I got an inkling where it might be going…

So thank you Mods, we really do appreciate you

And Merry Christmas

Sadly, I didn’t offer a glass of virtual sherry and that lovely gesture was made by Teressa, but sure she will be happy to change the order to your favourite malt. Let me know if Ardbeg will do though.

Incidentally, I hope Tammy now finds the support here she needs.

I think Liz has already been on the gin Derek!

And who could blame her! With all this bickering going on at Christmas! lol!

Changing the order from Sherry to gin but i have got egg nog or babycham if prefered!

I’d also like to thank the moderators- (Liz & Val) who’ve taught me how to do the job, explained the moral maze of these forums and helped me make decisions when posts were floating in a grey area. Most importantly, they’ve make me laugh in times of grimness- something we can all agree is pretty important.

raises a glass

Cheers to them- and so they can relax a little, let’s all try and be nice for a few days, eh?

Much love and seasonal cheer

Stewart (admin)

Thanks Val and Stewart.

Hope you have a really lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Have lots of fun.

Shazzie xx

And thankyou from me too.

Here`s to a happier new year, afterall we all know how horrible it is to cope with a serious incurable condition, and we should try our best to boost each other, when times are tough and we need a bit of extra support.

Merry Christmas to one and all, and raise a glass filled with whatever you fancy!

Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New Year! Teresa xx
