Hi all, just wondering for some opinions on ocrevus or kesimpta since I’ve been told I’m moving onto one of these drugs from Tysabri.
Hello @AAJM
I believe Ocrevus and Kesimpta are quite similar DMDs, they’re both anti-CD20.
Ocrevus is administered via infusion and Kesimpta is a monthly subcutaneous injection, I was on the later earlier this year.
Regards,
JP
In terms of reducing relapse rate my understanding is they are very similar performance wise. If it were me I would choose Kesimpta as My interpretation is it carries a lower risk of cancer.
I’m on Kesimpta, fine so far (11 months). For me, the main advantage of Kesimpta over Ocrevus was being able to self-administer. I’d fine it a real pain to have to attend hospital for infusions. Less time spent in hospitals the better!
