Hallo
Am just wondering if this is available on the NHS yet. I saw in the news that Ocrevus is now available as an injection rather than having to have a 4-hour IV infusion?
Hallo

Yes, I heard about this a few months ago but, isn’t it just the same as Kesimpta?
No, it’s given 6-monthly, but instead of being administered by IV drip which takes hours, it’s a 15 minute injection, given at the hospital
I think Kesimpta is self-administered every month at home
My neurologist wants me to start treatment asap, but I’ve never taken these meds before. Ocrevus and Kesimpta are the ones I was offered at my last appointment
I believe Ocrevus and Kesimpta are very similar drugs, they’re both anti CD-20.
