Support for new career training because of MS?

Hi all. I’m 45 with PPMS. Is there any support for training to switch careers because of my MS?

I have always worked in Art Logistics, a physical job even as a manager. I am conscious that worsening symptoms would make my current role impossible; there are already things I can’t do like walk while carrying something heavy. I have been looking for support for courses that would maintain ( as much as possible) my salary but they are expensive. The DWP Access to Work scheme doesn’t seem to cover it. Even with reasonable adjustments I am likely going to be unable to do 70% of my job at some point in the future.

Does anyone know of any schemes that might help?

Hi @robluck . I don’t know of any such report but have you tried asking the MS Society Helpline - details on the main MS Society website under support and community
