Hi it has been 4 weeks since my MRI scan. I phoned up the consultant’s secretary to ask if they had them and she said that they hadn’t yet had the results through. Is this likely to mean that my MRI is normal? and it is at the bottom of a pile somewhere? Has anyone had positive results and a long wait for the MRI results? Or did you receive them quit quickly? Any experience of this would be greatly appreciated as I’m worrying a little xxx
It can take ages to get results, I had my first MRI in April and got the results about 7-8 weeks later, and they did show lesions. Wheather there clear or not I don’t think it makes any difference in time scale in my expierence. So try not to worry
I agree with gray. I had to wait five weeks and mine showed some white patches. Thy have to wait for an MRI specialist to do a report on the scan before they get any results themselves I know it’s hard and I might be looking at waiting for a second time but all I can say is be patient and keep posting on here if you need to vent Big hugs Mick
No love…it doesnt necessarily mean you have or you havent got ms. I know the waiting is hell, but youve done what you can by ringing the neuros sec.
Just gotta sit tight and wait…
