Spoon Therory

Hi Folks,

I’ve often read on here of people talking about the spoon therory and wondered what it was, so I googled it. Had the shock of my life as I expected it to be all about MS, when I read a few lines and realised they were referring to Lupus my mouth dropped. After having read the whole article I thought how similar Lupus and MS are and how it describes me as I have both. It’s no wonder I have trouble in knowing which pain is which. But it is an apt description. Any thoughts anyone?

I think that it can be adapted to fit to any chronic disease - I have one friend with ME and another with Fibromyalgia, the analogy could apply equally as well to them as to me (luckily I only hsve MS to deal with).
