I have a weird feeling sometimes with my eyes and head, I think it’s part of ms but it’s hard to describe the feeling and just wandered if anyone else has the same or similar issues or if it’s just my bad vision ( I’m short sighted which is nothing to do with ms apparently as I’ve always been short sighted) anyway I sometimes find it hard to focus when in shops or in crowds, I feel like I’m a bit spacey and sometimes it’s like my eyes have trouble keeping up with where I’m looking and as though I’m not really there… I’m really scared I’m trying to remember how long I’ve been getting this as I think it’s been a while but I’m paranoid about pml even though I am jcv negative and my last MRI done 2 mths ago didn’t show and signs of pml… I’m paranoid and do suffer from health anxiety so this is making feel sick and I’m constantly crying. Any help would be much appreciated
ps I’ve been getting what the doctor thinks us tension headaches for over a week now too which is obv making me more worried. Vicious circle I know anxiety causing headaches and headaches catering anxiety.
thank you, I’m always at the doctors recently but will mention it if it doesn’t settle down… I also think the stress and anxiety is prob the main issue at the moment. If I could just get that under control things prob wouldn’t seem so bad but crying 3 0r 4 times a day isn’t helping the headaches, it’s a vicious circle. Anyway I hope you are keeping well and thanks for your post
I don’t have MS but the post by Wutus5 prompted me to a reply.
I was wondering if some of the eye problems could be down to Astigmatism.
I have this in both eyes , my left eye being the worse affected , and i am extremely short sighted.
I get blurred vision , shadows in vision , especially when reading and using a computer where the text on screen can fade or seem to change colour , like parts of the text become lighter or darker.
I had some major symptoms a few years ago , which had me suspecting MS myself , but things did get better and i no longer think i have MS. But i can remember the spaced out feeling and the problems with vision where it seemed to take longer
for my brain/eyes to register what i had been looking at , usually out doors in crowded areas were the worse .
I found being really fatigued may have brought these feelings on.
I get this spacey feeling a lot when out in busy and unfamiliar places. It sometimes feels like someone has got their fingers in my eye sockets. I’ve put it down to supermarket lighting or when I’m in an unfamiliar / crowded place it’s as if the information going from my eyes to my brain is too much to cope with. Wearing my glasses calms it a bit but not totally. Very strange sensation all the same and can be quite wearing and make me want to avoid certain situations
