Hi all,
Anyone else feel dizzy lightheaded and spacey feeing that comes and goes, ive had the feeling before on occasions but seems to be happening more now and often when sitting down… anxiety or ms ?? ( i do suffer badly with anxiety BTW but equally could be ms ) just wanted to see other peoples experiences with this… ps my balance isnt very good either.

My Dad has been suffering from this recently and it’s quite common, particularly as one gets old. He doesn’t have MS, so don’t assume yours is an MS thing either. Look up Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).
I’ve had this since being diagnosed with spms 16yrs ago, mine comes and goes and my ms nurse told me that this can happen with ms, I’m not a anxious person as a rule, so don’t put mine down to that, I tend to get mine when I’ve over done it and I’m so fatigued, so I personally think MS, all I do is rest, rest, rest.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear youve been suffering with this for soo long and the more i think about it the more i think it is ms related as i have been extremely stressed and anxious lately and we all know how stress can affect ms! In addition to this i had some leg spasms last nt and restless leg syndrome too so think it its all comnected but chatting to my ms nurse tomorrow. Stay safe and thank you again

Spoke to my Dad tonight. For his dizziness he was prescribed Prochlorperazine which is primarily a medication for travel sickness.
