So I have a second bout of ‘some white blood cells in my urine’. Does this mean I have a urine infection, or could it be something else?
So, 3 weeks ago I had a fuzzy head - almost vertigo like, but not as bad. IMy gp wanted me to hand in a water sample so I did and shortly after got a call to say the dipstick showed some white blood cells in my urine and I was given some meds to clear it up.
Now, 3 weeks later, I was hardly weeing and spraying instead of the normal trickle so took a sample to be tested and it was clear, but I’ve been under the weather all weekend and rang the out of hrs Dr. Who asked me to bring a sample in, which again showed some white cellsso he wrote me a prescription and asked me to hand another sample in to my gp in the morning. Within 2 hrs my gp also said there were some white blood cells and that it was being sent for further tests.
What I’d like to know is, is this a typical symptom ‘some white cells’ for a urine infection or could it be a symptom of something else eg kidney stones. I’m not really displaying any symptoms either.
Thanks
Sharon
