Sleeping during lockdown, can it ever be too much?!

Hi all,

When I was going to work I had to get up at 6.30 every morning (mon-fri). It’s not fun but I do it and just get going.

However, I have found that during lock down I am sleeping an awful lot more than normal. I am regularly not waking up til 9.30/10 which I know isn’t the end of the world by a long stretch but I am concerned about my ability to be able to adjust when I do need to go to work again. Will I be able to do it?

My contract is due to come to an end in June anyway so for the minute I am working from home, and it’s great becausethe to e I do this work largely doesn’t matter as long as it gets done. I am doing fairly well with the whole not stressing too much about what comes after June too which is very good for me as I am a huge stress bunny!

But, when it does come to time for me to get up at 6/6.30am, will I be able to do it?

I do not regularly suffer from fatigue but I do like sleep and need plenty whatever I am doing in the day!

Is anyone else finding this during lockdown?

Thanks for reading,

RL,

No my routine is same, as carers come at 8.30, but you`ll have to set your alarm.

I guess once youre back to normal....youll soon get into the same old routine.
