Shoes!!

Hi Everybody

I’m waiting to be diagnosed, and have been struggling with my feet. So sore, and cold and even feeling wet. I keep changing my shoes, but obviously my shoes are not giving me the support I actually need. It’s getting to the point that just walking around the house is almost unbearable.

Any ideas as to where I can get comfortable shoes, for less than a King’s Ransom???

Hi Ali I have resorted to wearing uggs all the time. They help, being flat, grippy and fur lined. Xx

I can only wear flip flops, my feet swell with shoes and I can’t stand not being able to itch my feet, everyone thinks I’m crazy wearing flip flops in winter but my feet are never cold, if I did wear shoes I get cold feet, figure that one , try them and see how you go on, hope you resolve your situation whatever you decide. Hi, I also suffered with my feet and shoes and slippers became something I loathed. I took myself (well actually it was my O/H) off to a mobility shop, they were so, so helpful. They took their time and I had loads of shoes all over the place and finally came across a pair called Cozy Feet. They are fantastic, comfortable, no need to clean them, they are waterproof, what more an I say. Worth a try! Good luck.

Hi, sorry to try to hijack advice from well intended folk, but I think flip flops could be dodgy and may cause falls. im only saying this cos i had some nasty falls when wearing flip flops.

Hope no-one minds me saying this.

Good luck with trying to get footwear that is wearable and safe.

In the house i wear granny boottee slippers. Have even been known to go out in them!
