A lot of people are now gonna say “stuff Boris” everyone’s broke their backs for weeks trying to stick to the rules but not Robert Jennrick or Dominic Cummings or Daddy Johnson (he went from his London home to his country estate) We’re still in lockdown and even my Tory voting, Cameron loving sister is now breaking the rules and allowing family and friends round to sit in her garden.

…I cannot help coming back on the subject after having seen the tv interview (for most part to be honest…) with Dominic Cummings… MY 22yr-old-daughter-with-severe-learning-difficulties-who-is-very-vulnerable DOES have some brave and fantastic carers IN THE LOCALITY of the town I am living in (hopefully they will be paid at a higher rate…, as I have done this work myself!)… I DO NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL MORE THAN 200 MILES to visit her although I am not allowed to… She has however been subject to some very ignorant carers in the past (as this naturally suspicious person - - admits which has unfortunately paid off in the past!), for which reason I want to visit my daughter on a regular basis… In my case it’s the other way round Mr Cummings, I AM the father who, although ‘PPMSed’, still wants to protect his daughter although I am not allowed to… You know what, I would have disagreed with your actions but NOT have disrespected you IF ONLY you would have apologized!! Margaret Thatcher’s politics (I was still living in Holland at the time for your information…) were not my cup of tea BUT I respected her for the strong politician she was!
But these ‘wishy washy’ advantaged conservative politicians in charge at the moment, are simply not able to connect with the majority of people they represent! STAY ALERT < CONTROL THE VIRUS < SAVE LIVES… ‘my ar…!’

My OH emailed our (useless Tory, Cummings supporting) MP about the example set by Scummings making half our - previously shielding - OAP neighbours break Lockdown yesterday!!
This govt is a disgrace Boris knows what hes doing is out of order, anyone can see that.I would like to know what Cummings has over him.I too am seeing my disabled grandchild i have not seen for 10 week today,We will social distance and stay in the garden but i am sick of being preached to with this idiot govt who dont have a clue!!
Politicians are a very strange breed and certainly think they are above the law…think of us folk in Northern Ireland when the leader of Sinn Fein stated that murders were justified…we don’t do things by half over here and I don’t want to go into the rights and wrongs of 800 yrs

IF people act their age and not their shoes size. I know politics can be a sensitive issue. There is,however, no reason for people to start arguing and being nasty as some comments are above. Please. A short while ago I ‘discovered’ a website (www.worldometers.info/…) that shows ‘real time world statistics’…, this before the COVID-19 pandemic had really taken shape… To me it seemed interesting to see how the total figures constantly changed (no of people being born, deaths, etc) without it having any effect on me; at the end of the day us MSers can make up our own minds if ‘we’ want to have ‘a look’ or not… Still, when I showed this on the dutch website (FYI, I have been an ‘immigrant -since 1995- with now a dutch visa’…), I was told off as a small child and ‘blocked’ for a short while, as they did not seem to think that it had any ‘additional value’… JUST SWITCH YOUR TELEVISION ON NOW!!.. So the previously(?) most liberal country in the world as is/was being claimed at times, decided to ‘topple’ me after 8-10 years without first informing me. Of course rebellious me complained about these ‘tactics’ and I was reinstated, for which I am very grateful BTW (it really upset me to be honest!).
Also, they (the moderators) have blocked other users whose non-discriminating and as far as I can/could conclude harmless comments and/or visions were ‘disliked’.
Anyway, what this ‘rambler’ (I admit it!) is trying to say is…, how wonderful we can all express our (decent) opinions, just look at HongKong! (and complain about these if necessary!).
Still, as a now 57yr old, I grew up as youngster in Holland (it just seems stupid to call Holland ‘The NetherlandS’ as it is such a relatively small country…), I suddenly realized I was digging myself into a (political) hole… I used to watch the news a lot already at the time, very often reporting about the problems in for example Vietnam, and closer to home, Northern Ireland.
I never meant to go there! (although I am very happy with Keir Starmer as Labour leader and very UNhappy with Republican Trump -Mr Fart-, Kim Yung Un -did you know saying ‘Un’ in dutch means ‘idiot’- and ‘Comrad Putin’ ex?? leader of the KGB …),.
